Located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula on the shores of Lake Superior, Marquette Home Care has been a trusted provider in homecare since 2013. Our team is comprised of trained and insured RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and caregivers. We understand the struggles family members experience when their loved one needs more assistance than they can provide. We aim to relieve our clients’ family members of the burden of solo caregiving, so you can enjoy one another without stress or anxiety.
We hope to lessen family members’ responsibilities while helping clients maintain their dignity and independence as they continue living in their own homes safely and comfortably for as long as possible. If your loved one has moved to a senior living community, nursing home, or is in the hospital, we can still provide compassionate care, ensuring they have one-on-one support.
We offer each client a customized plan and individualized care based on their own specific needs. We offer a variety of in-home services, as well as transportation services, that keep your loved one safe and comfortable in their own home. Our team can assist with tasks involving personal care, homemaking, toileting, feeding, and transportation wherever they call home.

Our Story
Marquette Home Care was established in 2013 by Erin Swadley. Recognizing a need in the area for high-quality, professional care for seniors, Erin began on her own with a handful of clients. The response to her services combined with her personalized attention to her clients’ needs was overwhelming. The referrals kept coming in and before long she had hired her first employees. Erin has expanded her business to include a dedicated team that is as passionate as herself about quality and service.
Erin grew up in Marquette and graduated in 2003 from Northern Michigan University. Erin spent many years in the Food and Beverage industry and has brought that high level of customer service experience to her own business, Marquette Home Care. Erin has also worked in the Senior Housing industry for 9 years and brings a wide variety of knowledge and experience with the needs of Seniors and the resources available in our area.
